First, a brief introduction of myself. Feel free to skip:

On my dad's conquest for finding a game worth his "skills" (which aren't exactly the best) he rents a lot of games. Thankfully he rents most of them for the 360. If ever there is a highly anticipated game, or an extremely hyped one, guess who gets to play it fairly early. Yours truly. I am not saying my reviews are the best, or that you might not even agree with them, but I've been playing video games since before I could walk. I know what to look for in a game, and I like to think I have good taste in games. I am very good at analyzing many different aspects of a game, and deem them playable, unplayable, or even just rentable. So, if you don't completely agree with some of my reviews, then fine. I don't agree with every review I see. But I'm only saying that I am quite knowlageable when it comes to certain aspects of gaming, and I would like to express my opinions so you don't have to play games that make you want to jump out of a window!

Battlefield Bad Company 2:

The original Battlefield BC, first captured my eye with their use of the sandbox, or anything in the world is totally destructible. Another wonderful thing that appealed to me was the way the guns felt, it didn't feel so much like a video game. The gun had a kick, the sounds of the shells, the way the bullets impacted the enemies' skulls... Ah, the memories... Well. Since I enjoyed the first one so much, I was one of many eagerly awaiting to get my hands on Battlefield: BC2.

Story Aspects, for those who enjoy a good story:

The game opens up in WW II it seems, and is very vague on exactly what you are doing there. Don't let this opening scene throw you off, the game is about to get good. At first I was a little apprehensive with the lack of HUD and character development. This first mission is the key to the rest of the game. Once you complete this adrenaline fueled journey, you return to the antics of the Bad Company. Now, the thing that I admit was a disappointment was the fact that you were back with the army. In the first game you all went AWOL, that is "Absence Without Leave" and made your own missions and rules. This made you feel a deep relationship with the characters and what they were doing; the objectives weren't "Take this post so another team can come here without doing any of the work clearing it out!" You FPS players know what I mean. Instead it was "KILL THAT GUY BECAUSE HE HAS GOLD!" I enjoyed the thrill of a personal gain, rather than being told what to do by the army. Plus, the storyline gave me a vicarious feeling of rebellion. Anyway, in BF BC 2 you are back taking orders from the army, and are told what to do. However, your team, to my delight, does go astray a few times. This game's storyline is extremely captivating, and just as good as the first. So for those of you out there that look for a compelling story, this is a great one!

Sound, Graphics, Feel, a.k.a. PLAYABILITY! YAY!:

Again, just as in the first game, this one doesn't fail to disappoint. The guns look AMAZING, and they feel AMAZING. Each gun feels completely unique when you use it. And I love love love love it. Some have alot of kick, some have no kick, some fire fast, some fire slow, some make alot of noise, some don't. It's amazing what games can do now-a-days. I would have to say if you don't understand why I'm making this such a big deal, you should at least go rent this game, and you'll understand. I can't tell you how satisfying it is to snipe with the M95 in that game. The KAPOW! And the echo of the shot, and the loud CLICK, CLACK, CLICK! of reloading the bullet into the barrel as you watch the lifeless body you just shot plummet to the ground... ah... makes me wanna play it just thinking about it. And the graphics for this game are beautiful. Everything is so detailed, all the way down to the wooden posts in the fences. The feel of the game is great too. You can walk up to a house, any house, aim with your grenade launcher and BOOM! you just made yourself a new door. You can even completely demolish houses if you hit it enough. This game is definitely on the top of my list for everything.

Everyone's favorite, the MULTIPLAYER!:

Okay. Multiplayer. I don't think anything bad can be said. There are 4 different classes. Assault, Medic, Specialist, and Recon. Like to rush? Assault! The XP you get, the more weapons for that particular class. And there's perks, too! You can make vehicles more efficient, or you can make your guns more efficient. For example, there are a certain number of points you have to accumulate to unlock certain guns for certain classes. I had to get about 6000 XP to get my XM8 Prototype. And alot more for the red-dot. In other words, for those that know what they like to do, you will be better at doing it. It's that simple. And the game modes are easy. There's Rush, which is like Search and Destroy with unlimited respawn, and everyone has a bomb. The defenders kill the attackers until their numbers run out, and diffuse any bombs the attackers should place. The attackers place bombs at one of the two bases, and they have a limited number of respawns i.e. the attackers can suffer 65 deaths before the game is over. And their's conquest which, there are 3 bases and you try to hold each base for as long as possible. For MW2 gamers, it's domination. There is also Squad Rush and Squad DM, which regretfully I haven't been able to participate in so I can't give you any serious details on that! Anywho, this is probably one of the best multiplayers that I have experienced in quite some time, and this game is definitely a great one!

In a nutshell (for those who don't like to read)...

This game is GREAT! Great story, awesome graphics and sound, and the multiplayer is close to perfect. All-in-all in my personal opinion, this game deserves an 9/10. Thanks for reading if you read the whole thing, and if you were going to and got here and saw ALL THIS... it's the thought that counts. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ridicule about the length and how off-topic I get. I look forward to writing many more!
